In the air
Piper PA-20 Pacer
A 1951 tube-and-fabric taildragger. I fly it for the fun of it, and the Northwest has no shortage of places worth flying to.

Seattle-based, a building consultant by trade, a pilot and sailor by choice. This is my little corner of the internet.
I live in Seattle and spend my working days on buildings, mostly on keeping the Pacific Northwest weather on the outside where it belongs.
Wind and water run through everything I do. At work I'm keeping them out of buildings. On weekends I'm reading them from a cockpit, whether that's at 3,000 feet or at the helm.
Outside of work I'm finishing a master's degree, and I'm a proud dad: my daughter recently graduated and has started her own career. Most of my free time goes to two projects, one that flies and one that floats.

On the water
A 1979 bluewater cruiser designed by Bill Crealock, which I'm refitting one system at a time. Mexico is calling.
